About

I trained as an Arts Therapist and worked for over 10 years in the charity and education sectors, with both children and parents. I have provided individual, group and conjoint (parent and child) sessions, along with supervision for staff. I use my experience as a parent and a therapist to support parents in working with their children through times of challenge and change.
I have worked with children and adolescents who have experienced:
- Bereavement
- Difficulty managing their anger
- Social anxiety and/or obsessional tendencies
- Parental separation
- Sleep related difficulties
- Trauma, neglect and abuse
- Difficulty communicating verbally and/or emotionally
- Difficulties with change and transition i.e. moving house or school
- Food related anxieties
- School and peer related issues
- Adoption transition and foster care
I attend regular CPD courses to ensure that I remain up to date with research and reflective of my own practice.
I place the utmost value on providing a non judgmental and collaborative space in which parent/s can explore their current difficulties and find meaningful ways forward for the whole family.
